ONE Small Step, a new play produced by the Oxford Playhouse, has been launched at this year's Edinburgh Festival, at the prestigious Assembly Rooms, where it has been garnering favourable reviews. You don't need to go to Edinburgh though, as it will be returning to Oxford where you can catch it at the Burton Taylor Studio from Thursday to Saturday August 28 to 30.
One Small Step is a fast and furiously funny play, which encompasses the history of the amazing exploration and human endeavour of the Space Race, from the first dog to be rocketed in to space, to the Moon landings and beyond. Full of emotion, intense moments, epic achievements and humour, this production sets out to entertain audiences of all ages. It might also teach you a thing or two.

Directed by Toby Hulse, the play focuses on two extraordinary actors. Between them, Robin Hemmings and Oliver Hollis bring 41 different characters to life.

For everything you ever needed to know about the historic accomplishments of man's trips to space, and a fantastic end of holiday treat for the children, ring the box office at the Oxford Playhouse on 01865 305305.
