Police 'concerned' about 'large increase' in Elmhurst shed break-ins
They said they had experienced a 'large increase' in offences in the area, and have pleaded with shed owners to ensure that sheds are all locked up securely.
In a post to their facebook page, they wrote:
"We have seen a large increase in shed breaks in the Elmhurst Alfred rose park area. please make sure that if you have a shed at home or on an allotment that it is locked securely.
"Do not leave valubles on display.
"Consider installing a security light.

They also added that the Neighbourhood Policing Team are aware of the issues and will be increasing patrols in the area as a result.
They continued: "We would also encourage you to register high value items with the online property database IMMOBILISE.
